The Race team 2025 project

Powerslide Suzuki  Racing, we have  competed at British Superbike level as well as Superstock before scoring points in both championships with riders like Levi Day, Bjorn Estement and Emil Lahti.

Powerslide have also supported many riders and teams as sponsors over the past 5 years, a name that's known in the paddock and by the fans alike.

 In 2024 we started the GSX8R project with Taylor Moreton and developed the bike ourselves and Taylor managed to take some points in 2024 in the Sportbike Class.

2025 was a whole new ball game and we wanted to see how far we can push the "Pizza delivery bike" GSX8R to the limits.

We decided to bring in Asher Durham to work alongside Taylor who stays on the bike for 2025, Asher is a podium finisher in 2 classes in BSB and was a great opportunity for him to progress his career and also help us develop }the bike.

Brad made the decision to bring in some experienced staff and team manager for 2025 to develop the bike further as it is still in its infancy.

Dave Tyson and Ben Mcpherson have worked together for a number of years and both worked on the official MV Agusta Team in BSB as well as official Kawasaki , Dave has a history of winning as a team owner/manager with over 50 podiums in 5 classes as well as 2 British championships (2014 superstock1000 Danny Buchan) (2021 Supersport Jack Kennedy). 

Dave and Ben started developing the bike ahead of the first round and brought Scott Heyes (Edge Competition) in as well to assist with chassis development along side electronics and component development for example Exhausts with Scorpion as well as updates every weekend.

Now we have had some time with the bike we have a very well developed GSX8R and all the parts we use are available to our customers as well as fully built race bikes.

So Far this year we have had 7 podiums and Powerslides first win in the British Championship at Knockhill this year.

Currently sat 2nd in the Championship its been an amazing season so far and lets see if we can take the number 1 plate.

Our 2026 plans have started and we will be releasing our full team line up at the NEC motorcycle show on the 16th November 2025.
